SiloxiHT

For the production of items in SiloxiHT, the same special producing technique as that of bone china is used. The base structure of the porcelain is rebalanced with siloxane and magnesium. Next to this, the porcelain is undergoing to a 2-time baking process at high temperature (ca. 1310°C; glaze firing ca. 1150°C – 1180°C).  The end result is an extremely hard, extremely light-weight, extremely thin and extremely durable material called SiloxiHT. The hardness of the material improves the durability of the products and its lightness helps reduce the carbon footprint of daily operations.

 Added values of SiloxiHT:

  • 5 x stronger in comparison with regular porcelain
  • 3 to 10 times more durable
  • 50% thinner than regular porcelain
  • 30-50% lighter
  • Resistant to intensive use
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Microwave safe
  • Food safe
